The Baltic University Program includes over 100 universities throughout the Baltic Sea region and is coordinated by Uppsala University (Sweden). Faculty and students of the KNADU have the opportunity to participate in the program's conferences and seminars, as well as in educational cruises in the Baltic Sea. The Baltic University Programme invites young researchers (up to 5 years after PhD) from BUP participating universities to apply for a grant of up to 3000 EUR to conduct research on sustainable development at a university in another Baltic Sea region country. The research must be related to sustainable development (environmental, social or economic aspects). Applications can be submitted for full or partial funding of new research projects, as well as for a grant as a financial contribution to ongoing projects, provided that the applicant is staying at another university in the Baltic Sea region during the mobility grant period. Applications are accepted from candidates representing any discipline and subject area.
The grant covers travel and accommodation costs. The minimum mobility period is 1 month.
