Центр кліматичного менеджменту ХНАДУ був створений за фінансової підтримки Европейського гранту ERASMUS К2 «Синергія освітніх, наукових, управлінських та промислових компонентів для управління кліматом та запобігання зміні клімату 619119-EPP-1-2020-1-NL-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP, CLIMAN, що мав на меті допомогти університетам Грузії і України стати центрами розвитку досліджень кліматичного менеджменту для прискорення інтеграції в світовий кліматичний ринок і реалізації світових вимог по кліматорегулюванню шляхом впровадження кращих європейських практик у сфері запобігання зміни клімату, адаптації та мінімізації наслідків а також прияти розвитку і зміцненню інституційного потенціалу університетів-партнерів. Здобувачі та фахівці, наукові інтереси яких полягають у вивчені впливів на навколишнє середовище внаслідок змін клімату, мають можливість використовувати платформу ЦКМ для підвищення кваліфікацій як кліматичні менеджери.
Нагадуємо, що перший випуск кліматичних менеджерів В ХНАДУ відбувся за плановими індикаторами сталості проекту у грудні 2023 року, за успішно акредитованою (2023) магістерською програмою , яка включає блок освітніх компонентів «кліматичний менеджмент» і цілком відповідає цілям проекту. Зараз триває підготовка вже другого набору майбутніх кліматичних менеджерів нового покоління, які спроможні вирішувати амбітні завдання Євросоюзу щодо зеленого переходу.
ЦКМ ХНАДУ комунікує з кліматичними центрами та інституціями, які займаються проблемами кліматичних ризиків по всьому світу. Синергія європейського зеленого сталого вектору відображається і в роботі по другому європейському проекту ERASMUS К2 «Трансформаційна навчальна мережа для стійкості - Допомога українській вищій освіті для забезпечення стійкої та надійної реконструкції (післявоєнної) України (TransLearnN)». Щосереди проводяться круглі столи , які модерують професори Университету сталого розвитку Еберсвальде. Германія.

The CMC of KhNAHU communicates with climate centres and institutions dealing with climate risks around the world. The synergy of the European green sustainable vector is also reflected in the work on the second European ERASMUS K2 project "Transformational Learning Network for Sustainability - Assisting Ukrainian Higher Education for Sustainable and Resilient Reconstruction of (Post-War) Ukraine (TransLearnN). Roundtables moderated by professors from the Eberswalde University of Sustainable Development are held every Wednesday. Germany.
