10 benefits for foreign students to study in KhNAHU

1. Students, including foreign ones, professors and scientists of the University of KhNAHU, continously participate in international projects and programs TEMPUS, ERASMUS +, DAAD, going to foreign universities to study, have scientific internships, conduct collaborative researches, give lectures, and improve their qualifications.

2. The university is a strategic partner of AUTODESK, the American corporation. The signed agreement lets KhNAHU students, teachers and scientists use the most up-to-date computer simulation programs in road construction, architecture and automotive industry for free (AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit, Fusion 360, Civil 3D and others.).

3. The university created and successfully keeps training centers for students’ in-plant training using the most hi-tech equipment of the world famous companies such as HAAS NC-metal-cutting machines (an American company), BOSCH diagnostic equipment for car maintenance (a German company), and CREDO equipment for computer-aided design of roads and highways (a Belarusian company).

4. The German-Ukrainian Center is effectively working at the university, thanks to which KhNAHU cooperation with German higher education institutions, enterprises and companies in the field of road construction and automotive is actively developing. At the Center Ukrainian and foreign students learn German, get acquainted with the culture, traditions and achievements of Germany. Consultations, trainings, presentations, master classes for further participation in international programs, projects, internships in Germany are continuously being held for students.

5. KhNAHU students, including foreigners, participate in joint degree programs with leading European universities in Switzerland, Poland, Latvia.

6. The university has developed specially adapted teaching materials for international students (lecture notes, LOMs, coursework and diploma project guidelines) that provide increasing the both self-study efficiency and vocational training quality.

7. During their studies, international students are actively involved in scientific research, participate in competitions, contests, make presentations at student scientific conferences, and write scientific articles. According to their achievements they are awarded with diplomas.

8. During their studies, foreign students work under the university highly qualified teachers and scientists over the coursework and diploma project based on their country initial data for calculations.

9.The university high-speed racing cars laboratory, where students put the theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom into practice and create unique models of record-racing cars with their own hands and take part in national and international competitions (for example, 2010 - 2016 SCHELL - eco marathon, formula E8, etc.), has been working for more than 50 years.

10. The university exciting event program of extracurricular activities such as amateur art contests, numerous excursions, sports competitions and other cultural events, where students participate actively, is implemented.
